Microbit AI Workshop Lesson

In this lesson, you will create a Micro:Bit AI project to recognise movements. Connect your Micro:Bit, record and train samples for actions like 'Earthquake' and 'Still', then expand to 'Walk', 'Run', and 'Jump'. Review your model's performance to see how it identifies patterns in real time.

    1 - Introduction

    2 - Create a new Microbit AI project

    To get started create a new Microbit AI project.

    https://createai.microbit.org/

    Select Get Started and New Session.

    3 - Connect your Micro:Bit

    Click the Connect Button along the bottom of the screen and follow the steps on screen to connect your Micro:Bit wirelessly to your device!

    4 - Check out the Micro:Bit Movement

    Shake your Micro:Bit and see how the Live Data Graph on your webpage responds.

    5 - Create an 'Earthquake' action

    Rename the action 1 as 'Earthquake'.

    Click the red Record button and shake the Micro:Bit around while it records the movement.

    Repeat this at least two more times to collect more data.
